Molecular Medicine is a research-based education, established in 2007 as an interdisciplinary collaboration between the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Health at Aarhus University. The vision for the education was to create a bridge between the molecular biological research in the laboratory and the clinical life at the hospitals. Therefore, as a Molecular Medicine student, one gains knowledge about molecular biology combined with medical subjects such as histology, microbiology, physiology and pharmacology, giving us specialized knowledge about the molecular mechanisms in the human body. During the study period we have laboratory courses, and especially our bachelor and master project strengthens our research experience.
